__ Puntata numero tredici di questa prima stagione di AUDIOSINCRETISMI; riprendo il possesso del mixer dopo aver passato la palla la scorsa settimana ad Alessandro per un primo esperimento di mix a tema deep/minimal (esperimento andato molto bene e nel futuro della prossima stagione sarà sicuramente riproposto).
Se è vero che la musica che ascoltiamo riflette in qualche modo il nostro mood in questa tredicesima selezione ci sento i primi scampoli di vacanze balneari dell’agosto ormai alle porte ma soprattutto gli ultimi giorni di studio universitario di questo lento luglio romano.
Largo dunque a molte sonorità nu jazz, campionamenti soul e ritmi vagamente hip hop vecchia scuola.
Non poteva mancare una traccia del primo Neffa che puntualmente ogni estate torna nelle mie cuffie. Back in the days al 1996-98, al tempo di “Messaggeri della Dopa” e “108 Elementi”, album obbligatissimi per una prima infarinatura di rap italiano. Album che segnano anche l’apice (prima della svolta pop di Neffa) del progetto Messaggeri della Dopa con il quale il cantautore di Scafati e la sua “ballotta” composta da nomi che poi si sono distinti in vari ambiti della scena musicale italiana (Deda, Giuliano Palma, Kaos One, Esa, Dj Gruff, Al Castellana…) hanno dato vita ad un interessantissimo mix di stili, culture, suoni ed idee.
Nell’Audiosincretismo odierno ci sono poi tante fresche e nuove leve della musica beat: MF Love, i Midnight Eez, il tedesco Rob Who?!, il cileno Brous One, il canadese Envoy, Sugoisounds e il texano Schadillac (consigliatissimo il suo ultimo cd Isles, lo trovate su Bandcamp); più l’ormai vecchia conoscenza Ta-ku.
Chiusura estiva con il pezzone del producer Exile Your Summer Song, “remixato” con la voce della cantante J.Mitchell.

If it’s true that the music we listen to is a kind of reflection of our mood for this thirteenth selection I sense the first feelings of the seaside holiday of this coming August but above all this last few study days of this slow roman July.
So off to nu jazz sounds, soul samples and vaguely old school hip hop rythms.
It could not miss a track belonging to the older Neffa who every summer comes back in my headphones. Back in the days to 1996-98, to the time of “Messaggeri della Dopa” and “108 Elementi”, required albums for a first introduction to italian rap music. Albums that also mark the top (first neffa’s turning to pop music) of the project “Messageri della Dopa” with which the songwriter from Scafati and few names that became famous in different areas of the music scenes (Deda, Giuliano Palma, Kaos One, Esa, Dj Gruff, Al Castellana…) gave birth to a very interesting mix of styles, cultures, sounds and ideas.
In today’s Audiosincretismo there are even many new and fresh recruits of beat music: MF Love, Midnight Eez, the german Rob Who?!, the chilean Brous One, the canadian Envoy, Sugoisounds and Schadillac from Texas (I recommend his last album Isles, you can find it on Bandcamp); plus the most known Ta-ku.
