__ Dopo la vetta della scorsa decima puntata il primo scollinamento verso agosto segna un cambio di stile e genere musicale per questa nuova puntata di AUDIOSINCRETISMI.
In questa undicesima selezione c’è tutta l’afa e la lentezza di questa estate romana: ritmi elettronici, sintetizzatori a go-go ed un pizzico di sonorità retro.
Il menù del minestrone musicale di oggi prevede un bel mix di passato e presente: da Roxanne dei Police ai recentissimi beat campionati del piccolo genio della California Knxwledge (la traccia presente nella scaletta appartiene all’EP “knt.remembr” uscito il 29 giugno su Bandcamp).
Si passa per i Pet Shop Boys (che a settembre torneranno nei negozi di dischi con il loro undicesimo album); mini carrellata sulla moda dream pop italiana con i Casa del Mirto e gli Holidays e stacco sulle voci di Beck, Theophilus London e Fatima.
Non manca un pizzico di chillwave USA con Com Truise e un goccetto di french touch con la traccia Stereo Provolone del parigino Breakbot.
Chiudo con un grazie ad Anna Shisterova per avermi passato l’autoscatto utilizzato per questa puntata numero 11.
__ After last tenth episode’s achievement the first step to August marks a change of style and musical genre for this new episode of AUDIOSINCRETISMI.
In this eleventh selection there’s all the sultriness and slowness of this roman summer: electronic rythms, plenty of synthetizers and a pinch of retro sounds.
Today’s menu includes a nice mix between past and present: from Police’s Roxanne to the more recent sampled beats of the little genius from California Knxwledge (the track in the mix belongs to the “knt.remembr” EP released the 29th of june on Bandcamp).
We switch to the Pet Shop Boys (who in Semptember are coming back with their eleventh album); little overview on the italian dream pop with Casa del Mirto and the Holidays and straight cut to the voices of Beck, Theophilius London and Fatima.
We don’t forget a little pinch of USA chillwave with Com Truise and a drop of french touch with Breakbot’s track Stereo Provolone.
