__ Settima puntata di AUDIOSINCRETISMI dedicata quasi esclusivamente alle nuove uscite della scena beat music.
In scaletta due nuove pubblicazioni dell’etichetta discografica di Los Angeles HW&W Recordings: si tratta del nuovissimo disco del beatmaker Evil Needle, Equilibrium, di cui ho inserito due tracce; e Flavors 2, seconda raccolta di beat del californiano Bahwee.
La prima traccia del mix è estratta dal nuovo cd di Anthony Valadez (Just Visiting il nome del disco) uscito pochi giorni fa per la Plug Research Records (ringrazio Maria per avermi consigliato l’ascolto).
Ahwlee nell’ultimo Ep The Dutchist si conferma uno dei migliori beatmaker di genere chill e easy listening; così come Ackryte e 0hbliv, due dei miei preferiti del panorama beat music californiano per la loro attitudine al campionamento jazz e soul.
Discorso a parte per il giovane producer canadese Jesse Futerman: ha già sfornato due EP molto interessanti (la traccia inserita nella seletta di oggi appartiene a Fuse The Witches); ma a differenza degli altri sopra citati la sua musica abbraccia suoni e stile diversi tra loro.
A rompere l’egemonia americana ci pensa il duo svizzero Jazzo & Melodiesinfonie: Stiller See è estratta dal loro recente album intitolato Wasser (acqua).
Unica divagazione che mi sono concesso è la traccia soul-funk di Wille Hutch proveniente dalla colonna sonora del film del 1974 Foxy Brown con la bellissima Pam Grier nella parte di protagonista.

__ Seventh episode of AUDIOSINCRESTISMI, dedicated almost exclusively to the beat music scene.
In the selection we have two new publications of HW&W Recording Label from Los Angeles: it is the latest album of the beatmaker Evil Needle, Equilibrium, of which I included two tracks; and Flavors 2, second collection of Bahwee’s californian beat.
The first track of the mix belongs to Anthony Valedz’s new album (Just Visiting) released few days ago with the Plug Research Records (I thank Maria for having recommended me the listening).
Ahwlee in his last Ep The Dutchist proved himself as one of the best producer of chill and easy listening music; as well as Acryte and 0hbliv, two of my favourites in the californian beat music scenary for their attitude to the jazz and soul sampling.
Different situation for the canadian Jesse Futerman: he has churned out two very interesting Ep (the track in today’s selection belongs to Fuse The Witches); but unlike the others I mentioned before his music embraces very different sounds and styles.
To break the american lead there’s the duo from Switzerland Jazzo & Melodiesinfonie: Stiller See is taken from their recent album titled Wasser (water).
The only parenthesis I added is the soul-funk track of Willie Hutch, from the 1974 movie soundtrack Foxy Brown, with the beautiful Pam Grier as a protagonist.
